Marilyn's background includes a B.S. degree in Business from California Polytechnic State Universtiy in San Louis Obispo; advertising/marketing experience as a co-owner of Minor Advertising Company with her husband, Jim; and community involvement with 15 years service in the Junior League of Reno, as well as being an active volunteer in several of the Reno/Sparks area schools.

She loves a good game of tennis and wishes she had more time to lower her golf handicap. She is a firm believer that northern Nevada provides a wonderful environment in which to work, play and raise a family.
